We're Home

Cheryl and I arrived home this morning at 2:00 AM. We left Lexington at 9:00 AM Eastern Time and drove down to Nashville. Along the way we had two great stops which I will blog about later. We arrived at the Nashville airport at 4:00 PM and immediately got on an early flight to Dallas-Ft Worth. We had hoped we might catch an early flight back to Oregon but that didn't happen. In fact the plane was late and after we boarded we sat for an hour before we took off. Poor Alex had to pick us up at PDX well after midnight and we all had to work today.

All in all we had a great vacation and I'll blog about it in more detail later after I've had some sleep and time to process what all we saw and did. As usual Jim and Patti were great hosts and we look forward to the next time the four of us can get together. We now have to get back on a diet that will help us maintain the weight we'd like to be at rather than the food fest we enjoyed, especially in Kentucky.
