Canada Day 2

We had lots of fun on our first full day in Canada. We did a lot of walking but it was pretty easy because we walked in kilometers instead of miles.
This is the four of us standing on the bridge that leads from the main village to the upper village where we went for the farmer's market today.
This is a regular Sunday event that we've attended each year that we've come to Whistler. Today was cool and rainy but we managed to make all our trips out without getting rained on.
This is a group of Japanese students taking a drawing lesson.

After lunch we went to the new library. It's very nice and modern. The girls enjoyed it a lot. After the library it was time for a swim. While the air was a little cool the water was great.

And when it got a little too cool.
There was a hot tub.

After swimming Grandma took Sarah and Amanda to see the movie Wall - E. You'll have to ask them what it was about. I got to stay in the condo and cook supper.

We have lots more planned for tomorrow.
