I had promised Sarah (Granddaughter) that I would try to get a picture of a sunset for her. Not an easy thing as each evening the fog came in and the sun disappeared early. On Wednesday I was able to get this shot. Sarah has been home sick all week and is looking forward to returning to school on Monday.
One afernoon as Cheryl and I were walking I stopped to shoot a photo and as I was standing there this little guy came out to see what was going on. He was actually watching Cheryl and allowed me to take a number of shots of him.OK, Cheryl and I are spending the night in Anderson, California on our return trip home. We found a great little motel and restaurant. Anderson is just a few miles south of Redding and about 25 miles north of Corning, home of the Olive Pit. The Olive Pit is a place no Oregonian can pass by without dropping a significant amount of money. We continued the tradition today. We hope to be home by mid afternoon tomorrow and start to get back into the swing of things. It's been a great little vacation and we feel recharged and ready to get back to work (sort of).
