Seaside Weekend

Here's a photo of the resort we stayed in at Seaside last weekend. We went over on Friday and returned on Sunday. We had a very restful time. The weather was iffy on Saturday but beautiful on Sunday. I’ll post a slide show of the photos soon. This is a tourist town that seems to appeal mostly to the teen set. Seaside is one of Oregon’s oldest resort towns and some of the buildings reflect the late 1800’s. Sort of reminded me of the pictures I’ve seen of Nantucket.

We had several great meals at McKeown’s Restaurant, including brunch before we left on Sunday. Cheryl seemed to enjoy the drinks served during Happy Hour. We sampled fried artichoke hearts for the first time there. They were so good we went back a second time.
