While I was walking this morning in the Tualitan Hills Nature Park looking for something exciting to photograph this little guy popped out and stood long enough for me to snap a couple of photos. Later I ask a volunteer at the interpretive center what the proper name of these little guys are. He told me they were called the Native Brown Bunny. I'd not heard of that species before so I looked it up on the internet. There were a lot of references to bunnies but none for the Native Brown. I finally found a local site with photos of the common Bush Rabbit. Cheryl and I see these little guys almost every time we walk. They are very common and a little shy.
Cheryl and I are off tomorrow morning for Park City, Utah for the first leg of our summer vacation marathon. I hope to post a few photos from there. We're looking forward to the visit as we've not been before and we hear its a fun town. We look forward to exploring the area and relaxing.
