When we picked up Alex this morning to take us to the airport I went in and shot some photos of Esther and her family. Here they are:

Blackie explores AlexActually Alex hasn't named them yet but he better hurry as they have doubled in size in the last week. I think he may have more soon. Esther is officially a hairless rat but has put on some fuzz as you can see. It may be a winter thing. The babies all have hair.
Alex, Esther and family are moving in to our spare bedroom this week. I'm sure Tigger (our cat) is going to be interested.

Chip would love to be invited to Alex's! Have fun where it's supposed to be warm and sunny! Patti
Tigger was very interested today when I let the family run around on a blanket on the couch. Tigger was watching them from the chair in front of the TV, but ran off scared when Esther ran over for an introduction. Although I'm hardly suprised at Tigger's reaction to Esther's friendly behavior, it is refreshing to see that, in this house anyways, the cat is afraid of the rat.
