Salt Lake City

This morning we went to Salt Lake City to see Temple Square. The square houses the home of the Church of the Later Day Saints (Mormon). We had a great tour conducted by 2 young women. One was from Cancun, Mexico and the other from Gilbert, Arizona. Everything was beautiful. They guided us through a number of buildings while explaining the Mormon faith to us. The top photo is the main temple and the second is the sanctuary. The sanctuary is the original building on this site and took over 40 years to complete.

After Temple Square we went to Gateway Mall which about a half mile away and is sited by the old Union Pacific Railroad Passenger Station. While we didn't get any photos we did have lunch and spend some money.

Hi Sarah,
The top photo is the Mormon Temple (a big church). The bottom is the original church. I forgot to take a picture of the mall. Grandpa.
